The Zach Bunsa Memorial Scholarship

In loving memory of Robert Zachary Bunsa, The Zach Bunsa Memorial Scholarship (ZBMS) provides financial assistance to deserving Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) students. The annual scholarship covers approximately 50% of each recipient's annual all-in RVCC costs.

Zach was a beloved son, brother and friend who deeply touched countless lives. He lit up every room with his ear-to-ear grin, contagious laugh and good-natured antics. Fiercely kind and accepting, Zach eagerly desired to make each person in his presence feel seen and cherished. He lived out his Catholic faith with conviction—loving others without judgment or complaint—and balanced school, work, service and a booming social life with joy and diligence. Zach delighted in the well-being of dear friends and strangers alike; his heartfelt love, as his family recalls, “knew no bounds.”
